Asking A Man How Much Money He Makes Is Useless

Women often ask a man how much money he makes, but asking a man how much money he makes is useless because it doesn’t tell you anything about his financial situation or his financial habits, and those are what really matter.

Now let’s go in-depth.

1. Disposable Income

What really matters is not how much money a man makes, but how much disposable income he has.

For example:

Let’s say a man is making $300,000 a year, you may get excited…until you realize he’s $5,000,000 in debt and needs to give up 80% of his income every year to pay off his debts…

Or he may need to pay half his income to his ex-wife in alimony.

Just because a man has a high income, that doesn’t mean he has a high disposable income.

BUT, let’s say he does have disposable income…that doesn’t mean anything because him having disposable income, doesn’t necessarily mean that he is willing to spend it.

2. Willingness To Spend

Just because a man can afford a mansion, that doesn’t mean he will buy a mansion.

Just because a man can afford a fancy car, that doesn’t mean he will buy a fancy car.

Just because a man can afford a life of luxury, that doesn’t mean he wants to live a life of luxury.

A man having money, doesn’t mean that he’s willing to spend his money.

He may be one of those idiots who refuses to spend money on anything except the bare necessities in a financially illiterate attempt to save money by scrounging for every possible penny until the day he dies.

There’s also plenty of multi-millionaires who live in a mediocre home, in a mediocre neighborhood, and drive a mediocre car.

A man having money, does not mean that he’s willing to spend his money.

BUT, let’s say a man does have disposable income, and he’s willing to spend it…that still doesn’t mean anything because it doesn’t necessarily mean that he is willing to spend his money on you.

3. Willingness To Spend On You

He may have no problem spending $50,000 on a new car for himself, but refuse to buy you a $5,000 used car.

He may have no problem spending $1,000 on a new suit for himself, but refuse to buy you a $100 dress.

Just because a man has money, and is willing to spend it, doesn’t mean he’ll be willing to spend it on you.

Just because a man can give you a life of luxury, that doesn’t mean he will.

Conclusion

Ultimately, a man having a high income does not mean that he has a high disposable income, but even if he does have a high disposable income, that doesn’t mean he’s willing to spend that disposable income, but even if he is willing to spend his disposable income, that doesn’t mean he’s willing to spend it on you.

Knowing how much money a man makes is useless because it doesn’t tell you anything about his financial situation or his financial habits, and those are what really matter.
