There’s a flirting technique called negging that is often said to be a great flirting technique that will make it easy to attract women, but some argue that negging is nothing more than emotional manipulation and that it won’t actually attract women, but repel them, so which one is it?
Well, to begin, we need to answer the question, what is negging?

Negging is a flirting technique where you criticize, insult, or undermine someone, often using backhanded compliments, for the purpose of diminishing the person’s self-esteem, so as to lower their romantic or sexual standards.
And to give a few examples:
“You’re a lot smarter than I thought you’d be.”
“You’re not as attractive as your friend, but you’re still pretty cute.”
“Your body looks amazing, how much did it cost?”

You see, negging isn’t a flirting technique, but rather, psychological manipulation thinly veiled as flirting.
Negging relies on subtly insulting the woman, so as to make her doubt herself and her value, for the purpose of lowering her standards.

You should want a woman to want you because she thinks you’re amazing, not because she thinks she is worthless.
You should want a woman to want you because you’ve built yourself up, not because you’ve torn her down.
You should want a woman to want you because she loves you, not because she hates herself.
But not only should you not use negging because it’s clearly immoral, you shouldn’t use negging because it would get you nothing but low-value women.
Negging Would Only Attract Low-Value Women
You see, negging would only work on women who either already have low self-esteem or women with psychological problems, and this is because a psychologically healthy woman simply wouldn’t fall for something as stupid as negging.
If you were to tell a psychologically healthy woman, “you’re a lot smarter than I thought you’d be,” she wouldn’t be insulted, she would just think you’re cringy and either call you out on it or simply walk away.
The only type of women negging would work on would be women who already have low self-esteem or women with psychological problems…neither of which you should want.
And I understand you may not care about a woman’s level of self-esteem or whether or not she has psychological problems, but trust me, you do NOT want to be involved with women who have low self-esteem or psychological problems, because those are the women who will cheat on you, who will abuse you, and who will try to ruin your life after you break up with them, and all of the other horrible things you would never want a women to do.

Negging would be like playing soccer, and instead of trying to win through your ability, you instead try to win by kicking your opponent in the knee before the game.
Ultimately though, you should want a woman to want you because she thinks you’re amazing, not because she thinks she is worthless.
